A 11-year-old boy who resuscitated his father after a road crash early today will be nominated for a bravery award.
Lachlan Nally gave his father mouth-to-mouth at the scene of a car rollover at Koolunga in the mid-north of South Australia, then ran three kilometres barefoot in the dark to the Koolunga hotel.
His knocking woke the owners who alerted police.
“I done (sic) mouth-to-mouth and then he started breathing again, and then I went and got help,” the boy said.
“We got taught at school by an ambulance person.” (via Boy revives dad, runs 3km in dark for help - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation))
